Notes:
Samezu is the site of Tokyo’s major driver’s license exam center. (There is also one just outside of Tokyo, in Chôfu.) In Japan, a gold license indicates that the operator has had their license for five years without incident or violation. It results in significantly lower insurance, and–presumably–better treatment by the police who administer renewals.
