I think it’s really cool what you’re doing here.
It’s a lot of work translating all that Japanese. If you ever need help or have questions, you can ask me. I’m not a native speaker, but I have a lot of friends who are. Truthfully, trying to read Kara’s blog got me into learning the language. These guys are just so interesting.

Thanks very much for the offer of help. I may take you up on it sometime! I’m with you, though, on enjoying learning through Kara’s blog. I do a lot of stuff in my field that’s literary and obtuse, so it’s a relief to translate modern, casual Japanese. Thanks for reading and offering feedback!

Like the changes you’ve made to the site. it’s easier to find things. My only complaint is the picture at the top. Tak is a good looking guy – but that picture isn’t that good of him. ;)

Good job with the news and keeping us updated. Tak and his team are my faves! How soon do you get info about where/when Tak will be at a Film Festival in America (hopefully a month or two in advance)? I’d really like to go.

Information on the film festivals varies. Typically, if Tak is participating in a film festival somewhere it gets discussed on one of the blogs – although, usually not obviously at first.

Thanks for reading and offering feedback! I really appreciate it. =)

I love this Tak and his team is so off the wall cool! I was trying to keep up with Tak and had some trouble doing so, but now its much easyer. As I finish writting Death Trance 2 “Awaken” I just hope that Tak will sign on again to play Grave and other fans do too!

    Hey you guys,

I love this web site, thanks for all the hard work in finding and translating stuff about Tak!! Hey is Tak married? I never really heard about anything like that since we don’t really get too much details about actors from over seas here in the states.

Thanks again and keep up the hard work ^_~

      Hi Maritza,

Thanks for reading; it is very much appreciated!

As far as I know, Tak is not married. He keeps his private life fairly private, however, so anything is possible.

Hi, I’m very happy for the existence of this site, since I am a fan and a fan of Tak, and I think it a maximum. I appreciate your sincerity in speaking does not know him, nor knows how to get in touch with him I do not know how to speak Japanese, let alone English, and this site is perfect to keep us a little close to our idols! Regards, and kisses

Hello. I just found out that he was in New York several days ago? Does he have a schedule in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Las Vegas? I’ll definitely go to these places if he has one:)

Hi Celeste. As far as I know, Tak has no plans to visit the west coast. He will, however, be in Austin, Texas, at the end of September. Please check out of the post for Fantastic Fest if you’d like more information about it.

Thank you for the info. I’m in Los Angeles and I’m not sure yet if I’ll be able to go to Austin, Texas in September. I’m sure he has a lot of followers like me in the west coast:) He only has 2 movies in Netflix– Shinobi and Death Trance. I didn’t count Tokyo Gore Police w/c is also in Netflix since Tak only appeared for few minutes:) I’ve talked to a care rep of Netflix and suggested that other movies of Tak should be included in Netflix. I don’t know when these movies will be added in their system. I don’t know of a store here in Los Angeles that sells Asian Martial Arts movies (DVD). I requested my brother to download Tak’s movies online. He only found Versus and I’m waiting for him to hand me the usb. I hope to find other sources so I’d be able to watch the rest of his movies soon. If you have suggestions, I’d appreciate it if you can share these to me:) Thanks again and God bless:)

You should be able to find some of Tak’s films via Amazon. I’m fairly certain that Battlefield Baseball is currently out of print – although a marketplace seller will probably have it available for purchase. Films like “Samurai School” and “Snot Rocket” should still be in print, though. Additionally, the roster of Sushi Typhoon films (which includes “Mutant Girls Squad,” “Yakuza Weapon,” and “Deadball”) will all come out on DVD next year.
