Austin Memories.
Tak Sakaguchi’s Strange Adventures got a significant number of updates recently. Each post contained several shots of Tak wandering around Austin with Kara and Yamaguchi Yûdai. There were also some cool pictures of him at a shooting range with Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan. I don’t have time to create individual posts for each one, so here are the links…

Pictures from Fantastic Fest.
They’re popping up all over the place and will probably continue to do so. Here’s a preliminary roundup: from Nishimura’s blog, from Kara’s yfrog feed (which is constantly updating and worth rechecks), and an assortment from different places (including Nishimura and Kara) that Kami has posted.
Enjoy!

I’m not really sure why Kara elected to repost rather than modify the original entry with an extra photograph, but that’s what he did.

Notes:
It would appear that Tak and co. are finally on their way to Texas for this year’s Fantastic Fest. Sushi Typhoon films Karate Robo Zaborgar and Yakuza Weapon will be shown with cast and crew in attendance, and the 10th Anniversary screening of Versus is also set to screen. Check out the festival’s official site (or any of Sushi Typhoon’s websites) for more information.
Tak at work on a new film.
The Passionate Promoter has posted photos of Tak and director Yamaguchi Yûdai working on their next collaboration. According to the blog post, the production appears to be a full-length feature film adaptation of the Snot Rocket series, and it will also star a number of prominent names in Japanese film that the promoter cannot disclose as of yet.
Check out the photos of the shoot here.
Hip-tip to Kami.
